Hello Class Three!
Miss Preece here, ready to take over your home learning! I’m excited to have you as my class again as you were my very first class as being a teacher. Let’s see if we can have as much fun as when we were back in the old Class 3.
This week’s English learning is all about J.K. Rowling and her stories.
J.K. Rowling has released a new book! And is letting all children read it for free!
I would like you to read this story on your own or with a family member. You might want to read a chapter a day, or more than one a day – it is completely up to you! J.K. Rowling has launched a competition that you creative bunch might want to have a go at.
I know a lot of you have either read some of the Harry Potter books or watched some of the films. And if you haven’t done either (which I think is highly unlikely) that is your challenge for this week.
I would like you to pick and choose which tasks you would like to have a go at this week, to see how much of a Harry Potter fan you are.
Harry-Potter-activity-pack In this pack, there are loads of different Harry Potter activities for you to try. Select the ones which you think will challenge your thinking as well as ones that you will enjoy. There are reading comprehension tasks, writing a diary entry from Harry’s point of view, writing a letter and many more tasks.
