I hope you are safe and well at home and have been enjoying time with your families?
Me, Carol and Reggie have missed seeing your smiley faces and hearing all of your exciting news.
Here are a few ideas for home schooling this week.
Can you draw or paint a picture of yourself doing one of your favourite activities? Is it riding your bike, climbing a tree or maybe playing in the sunshine?
I would love to see your pictures.
When you are in you garden or having a walk keep an eye out for Mini Beasts! How many can you find? Were they easy to spot or were they hiding from you!? Try drawing them if they will keep still. How many legs do they have? Which one has the most legs?
You could ask your Mummy or Daddy to help you make some play dough at home.
Here’s how to do it:
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar
- food colouring
Use your measuring skills to carefully measure and pour all of the ingredient into a saucepan and then ask a grown up to stir it on a medium heat on the cooker until it turns to play dough. Let it cool and then you can play!
Can you teach your family some of our favourite counting songs, five little speckled frog or five currant buns in a bakers shop.
You can ask your Mummy or Daddy to send pictures of your work for me to look at and I can show Reggie.
Have a great week.
Love from Amy
