In Class One, we have been busy with lots of Christmas activities. The role play area was transformed into a stable, with the children retelling the nativity story. The children looked at nativity images from around the world, reflected upon what puzzled them and then created their own stable using loose parts.
In maths, the children have been exploring shape, space and pattern. They created different Christmas trees using loose parts, funky fingers, shapes and large block play.
The children enjoyed performing in the whole school concert and we even had a surprise visit from Santa. Happy Christmas everyone.
