They were creative in the Make and Take tent, working with artists to spray paint bags, add to their felt collage, decorate their sketch books and draw using the light boxes. In the Spring Stage, the children really enjoyed listening to authors read their picture books. First Joseph Coelho read "Luna Loves Sport" and the children had fun joining in with the repeating text patterns. Then Laura Dockrill read her book, "I am strong just being me", with the children planting their own seed and watching it grow. They even had a signed copy to take home. What a fantastic day.
