This week, Class One have been out and about exploring the school pond.

This week at Forest School, the children were challenged to build houses for the Three Little Pigs.

In Class One, we have been busy with lots of Christmas activities. The role play area was transformed into a stable, with the children retelling the nativity story. The children looked at nativity images from around the world, reflected upon what puzzled them and then created their own stable using loose parts.

Today, Class One watched a fantastic, sensory, interactive theatre performance within a giant, inflatable igloo.

Class One had great fun this week when the Class Four Bronze Sport Ambassadors led a PE session. They taught simple whole class games and also group activities which focused on practising lots of different skills including balancing and throwing. The Ambassadors gave the children lots of praise, encouragement and even challenged them by changing the equipment. The children really enjoyed the session and at the end, everyone had a super sticker.
